In case you haven´t seen them, Apple has a whole series of Mac/PC ads.
Over at TrueNuff TV they have made a series of spoofs. Quite funny. Especially the one about networking…
And while we are at it, how about an instruction on how to dance disco - in Finnish?

Out with IE

I haven’t used Internet Explorer for quite a while, mainly for two reasons.

  1. The Mac version hasn’t been updated for a couple of years (yes, years)
  2. It’s Ugly
  3. It’s Microsoft
  4. Points #2 and #3 count as one

Today when I checked the stats for this blog I had to smile when I saw the percentages for the browsers at

Firefox 41
Internet Explorer 28
Safari 26

Not only is IE long way from #1, but also Safari is close on it’s heels. Good.

On the bottom end of the percentages we find

Camino 2
Opera 1
Mozilla 1
Konqueror 1

Two of which, Camino and Konqueror, I have never heard of? Are those flavours of Mozilla?

Over at Ripplecast you can watch a free tutorial on how to smoothen shaky pictures within Shake. Personally, I use iStabilize, which is amazingly simple to set up and use.

How many computers are there in our household, I wondered today. But before you start reading, make a quick guess.
Let’s start with the obvious ones: computers with a big screen, keyboard an mouse. Let me see, I have an office machine (iMac G5), my wife has an iBook. Then there’s also a MacMini, that isn’t doing anything at the moment. And an older G4 Power PC that is used for filmcapture from 8mm.
