HolidayFooLast summer I had a whopping 4 days of holidays. To make up for this, we are now going on a 2 week holiday.

Doors are locked, alarm installed, neighbours informed. So, no need to break in )

I probably won’t get a chance to blog in that time, but I hope that you’ll keep returning once I am back.

In the meantime, please do leave a comment:

  • what would you like me to write about in the future
  • what should I stop doing
  • where did I go on holiday
  • any thoughts, wishes, and/or desires

I’ll try not to do a Yvonne, and should be back after the 9th of february.

Sometimes I come across a site where I wonder on whether the maker is a genius, or has way too much time on his (rarely: her) hands.

If you, like me, dig/love/like/enjoy the tv-series 24, you might enjoy a site where you can follow our hero Jack Bauer.

JackbauerphoneI wonder if the end of episode 4 that I saw is the real deal, or if they put that version out to build some hype? That’s the fun thing with 24 - you can never be sure. They are not afraid to kill their darlings.

Thanks to some connections, I got to see a preview of the first 4 episodes of the 6th season. As always, very well made - and the villans are so much more believable than the good guys. Except for Kiefer Sutherland that is.

Hey, thanks to Wikipedia I learned that Jack Bauer is of German descent. Hmm… I went to a class with a guy called Bauer - maybe they are related? )

Oh; can´t get enough of Jack? Hop over to Blogs4Bauer.

Oh; if you have got enough, blogoshere caters also for your twisted feelings. Enjoy Why24sucks.

So far I have mostly avoided doing any metablogging, but today I came across this very useful list: Wordpress maintenance checklist. Even includes a handy pdf sheet.

And if you are on the lookout for a new theme, and have good time on your hands to decide, here is a collection of almost 1000 themes.

Just heard that a programme I did camera on last year is currently airing on CNBC Europe. If you have a chance to see it, please do - and leave comments on the camerawork.

pirateweathermanBusy period in my life (again), therefore just a simple post today.

I have attached a picture of pirate weatherman reporting a rather low temperature, which is even more evidence that pirates reduce global warming.

This is true - I found it on the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

They also have some hilarious art:

I thought I knew quite a bit about the music of the 80s (after all I spent hours on end mixing my own tapes). But I found out that my score is (only?) 45%:
