White vortexRhed Pixel is one of those active companies, that do not mind giving away excellent, free advice. Over at the dv.com website (which also has useful infos for people shooting other formats) Richard Harrington contributes regularly with in-depth information.

globeYou might have noticed that I have installed a little plug-in that maps where my visitors come from (don’t worry, you will not be entered into a subscription for washing machines.)

On the bottom of the sidebar you see a graphical representation. As this is only day 2 in the life of this plug-in, the info is yet rather sparse, but already fun to see that my dear readers spread many continents. Norway and the US (some special warm greetings to Alaska are due) are leading, closely followed by Canada. But also Asia, Australia, and Israel. Thanks!

katzenfuttermaschieneAs my blog has grown a bit in readership (now I get a safe 3 digit number of hits per day. Up to 727 on lucky tuesday) - Windows and the InternetExploder have regained a huge chunk. Previously Firefox was leading, but now it is a crushingly clear 72% for IE, Firefox is way down at 21%, my dear Safari at 4% and Hallvord’s (internal joke) Opera at 3%. Mozilla, Phoenix, Camino, Netscape, Firebird and Lynx have all 1% or less. What a pity that a browser that ignores some of the web standards, is the de-facto standard browser.

As far as OSes go, Apple is down to 9%, Linux 1% and the remainder - to look at it in a positive way - supports the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation.

Anyway, thank you to all you 1204 people who have visited my blog in the past 31 days. I am truly amazed. Thank you and good luck.

My Father and Mother have recently been arrested for growing and selling marijuana and are currently dependent on my two sisters, who are prostitutes in Auckland.

iphoneBoy, is there some hype going on. Imagine, the world`s biggest software company is about to deliver it`s new operating system (revenue generating system?), but everyone is talking about a phone.

Opinions are of course divided - as they were when the iPod was first introduced. But here I found one lucky guy that actually got to play with it. And posted a video.

I love Macs, but this parody is very funny.

(Most jokes apply more to the old OS9)
