Does the landing sites plugins work on Wordpress 2.1? I’ve tried it but it didn’t work…how about you?

and sorry for the link…my new url is http://blogosquare.com

hey ain’t the comment’s box a bit too small?

Is there relevance to the DoFollow plugin? I have considered installing it, but hesitate, as there are SEO penalties to any site considered a ‘link farm’.
Once a blog becomes well visited and well commented, there would be a diverse amount of comment author links heading out - and many might not be relevant to your site. Bang - SE penalties may ensue. Any thoughts?

Hans; on this blog I am still on 2.0, as I have heard some horror stories about plug-ins not working (though the real reason is more lack of time).
The comment box is a bit on the small side, but since I get so few comments, I don’t want to dedicate too much screen space.

Adrian; I do this blog just for fun, and have never bothered to learn much about SEO. The search engines should be smart enough to differ between logs with many comments and sites set up barely for link farming.
But this lacks any scientific data, as I don’t know anything about it…

General; What sort of page load speeds do you get at my blog? I have the impression that it loads a bit slow - guess I have to go through all my plug-ins and the external services…

Thanks for all feedback!

I just read a post in which Google’s Adam Lasnik was interviewed regarding NoFollow. Very interesting to see how Google uses NoFollow.

Page loads are fine by the way! Your index page takes me about 4 to 5 seconds.

Adrian, thanks for the link.

But we don’t live in perfect, innocent times, and at Google we’re dedicated to doing what it takes to improve the signal-to-noise ratio in search quality.

…whatever that means in real life terms…

(And thanks for the feed-back on the page loading times.)

Thanks for information you shared…

I am now using it…

Thanks for your comment.

I always find it helpful to see what plug-ins other bloggers use, there are always undiscovered gems out there )
