Today my oldest daughter would have had her 6th birthday. This summer she would have started in school. She would have swum in the lake, learned to cycle, laughed, cried and fought.
Life had different plans.
Six years later, I still do not understand why we were not allowed to meet her.
My thoughts go out to all who have lost someone.

I cannot imagine your grief. I have never lost anyone. I know that day is coming. My most ardent and heartfelt condolences to you.

My oldest would have been five and a half, but it wasn’t to be. We went on to have two beautiful children though.
My condolences, I know the anniversaries can be hard.

My sad friends, this is beyond understanding and always will be. But with a lot of strength you keep her memory and your sorrow between you, somehow growing together through it.
Hope you have remembered to pick up the rose. Rosa spinosissima lutea flore pleno if I remember correctly.
